ARTFUL opened
in downtown Burlington in 1998
as a store front custom framing and art shop, catering
to clients who want something
uniquely artistic
when they bring their treasured items to be framed.
Owner, Lynda Hutchison, an orthodontist by training, enjoys the creative
atmosphere surrounding custom framing. Her commitment is to create beautiful
frames that truly enhance your art,
photographs, diplomas,
needlework and
memorabilia, as well as preserve them for years to come.
She likes to carefully
design each framing order, keeping the style, colour, scale, age and texture of the piece in
mind. ARTFUL has hundreds of frames and mats from which to choose, as well as
many choices of glass to protect and preserve your art.
In December of 2003, ARTFUL moved to a new
location. Custom framing is now being done from Lynda's design studio in
her
home in the Roseland area of Burlington
by appointment
only. She still offers the same great selection of frames and mats,
as well as lots of creative new ideas.
Weekend and
evening appointments are available. You can make an appointment with Lynda by
phoning or
sending an e-mail. Hours are very flexible,
although Mondays are usually not available because
Lynda still works as an
orthodontist on Mondays.
